Can you donate a prize for our 2023 Christmas Raffle?

Hamble Hockey Club is a community based, grass roots hockey club based in Hamble. We are purely self funded and rely on the generosity of our members and local businesses to help us provide a safe and enjoyable club for everyone to access and play hockey.

We have proudly been a part of the community in Hamble since 1958 when Ken Makepeace, the Headteacher at Hamble School started ‘Hamble Old Boys Hockey Club’ and has since built a reputation as a welcoming, affordable and family focused club. As of 2023/24 season, we have three men’s and two ladies teams across a range of abilities plus a thriving Youth Section of around 40 under 16s which has produced some of Hampshire’s and England's most talented players.

In Summer 2015, we replaced our pitch which is based in the grounds of The Hamble School. The average lifespan of an artificial pitch is around 10-15 years, which means we are now fundraising in earnest to replace this pitch for the next generation as well as replacing the ageing and failing floodlights.

We are holding a Christmas Raffle and are looking for donations of prizes from local businesses.

At this time of year, you’re no doubt inundated with requests for help and support from other organisations and charities but we hope that you will consider Hamble Hockey Club a worthy local cause. If you’re able to donate, please get in touch with Clare Simper by emailing hamblehockey@gmail.com or dropping in to the club on a Saturday before 16th December.

Maybe you’re not able to donate to our raffle this time around but could you consider sponsoring our club?

We would be delighted to discuss sponsorship opportunities with differing levels of financial commitment for current season and in the future. Please get in touch using the email address above.
