So men's 2s played well-drilled Southampton Uni team were to say that numbers were a struggle is an understatement! But we carried on, but anyway…
1st half after the late usual arrival of Mr Toby Mathews he says it wasn’t due to a late night on the town I’m not sure but with minutes to spare he arrived but no warm-up would come back to night him…. We started well very organised with the experienced deadly duo of Mike “biscuit bones” heaver and mark “terry butcher” Wakefield marshalling the troops but a very young and fit uni team went 2-0 up but we had some chances Mr Gover would have hoped to have hit the target with a chance before departing to coach the 1s.

2nd half we kept going less chances but cracking finish from uni and another not sure how it bobbled to uni striker to get a 4th but we kept battling but fitness and a bare 11 caught up with us .

MOM Wyn Legge “Marshall I can’t do centre mid” but then stepped up second half after a cracking first half on the right and just played awesome in the middle!
